CurvetAI raises Rs 6 crore in pre-seed round led by Merak Ventures

CurvetAI has raised Rs 6 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Merak Ventures, with participation from a group of angel investors.

Founded in December 2025 by Vivek Dubey and Utkarsh Gupta, the Pune-based company is building a unified environment for users who work with different AI models across text, images, audio and video. CurvetAI has more than 100,000 monthly users globally, with India and the United States representing its largest markets, and has started generating revenue.

The platform enables users to access and compare outputs from multiple models, combine different capabilities within a workflow and select models based on the requirements of a particular task. This approach is aimed at reducing the need for users to manage separate AI tools, subscriptions and workflows.

Vivek Dubey, Co-founder and CEO, CurvetAI, said the rapid expansion of specialised AI models has also increased complexity for users, making model selection and coordination an important part of the AI experience. The company aims to handle this complexity within its platform as AI becomes more integrated into everyday workflows.

The newly raised capital will be directed towards strengthening CurvetAI’s technology infrastructure, expanding its team and developing agent-based capabilities. These products are intended to enable the platform to manage more complex workflows on behalf of users.

Sheetal Bahl, Founding Partner, Merak Ventures, said CurvetAI identified the growing complexity of the AI market early and demonstrated its ability to turn that insight into a product that has already achieved user adoption at scale.

CurvetAI initially focused on helping users discover AI tools and prompts. The company subsequently shifted towards a workspace model after identifying that discovery alone did not address the need to use multiple AI tools within the same workflow.

The platform serves individual users, teams and educational institutions. It also offers AI model developers a distribution channel through which they can reach users, collect feedback and gain insights into model usage. CurvetAI has collaborations with GnaniAI, Rumik AI and Alibaba and is working with educational institutions across India.

Dubey studied design at the Symbiosis Institute of Design in Pune and has previously held roles at Infosys, Microsoft and Google. Gupta, Co-founder and CTO, previously worked at Samsung and oversees CurvetAI’s engineering and technical infrastructure.
