AM Intelligence has placed a binding order for around 9,000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs for its first AI Factory in Hyderabad, with deliveries scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. The deployment is expected to position the facility among Asia’s early large-scale AI compute clusters built on NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin architecture.
The GPUs will operate through Vera Rubin NVL72 rack-scale systems across an initial 30 MW of capacity. AMI is designing the facility to handle demanding AI workloads, including trillion-parameter models and emerging agentic AI applications.
The Hyderabad project forms the first stage of the company’s planned 1 GW Compute-as-a-Service footprint across India, the United States, Finland and Malaysia. AMI also plans to introduce an initial 200 MW of capacity, supported by investment of more than USD 8 billion.

AMI said the Hyderabad facility will combine advanced storage, high-speed RoCE networking and NVIDIA’s latest AI architecture. The company expects the site to deliver around 450 exaFLOPS of NVFP4 inference compute, while the Rubin platform is designed to improve the efficiency of serving AI models.
The company is also developing 5 GW of powered AI data centre infrastructure across India, the United States and Europe, signalling a wider push to connect large-scale energy infrastructure with the growing global demand for AI computing capacity.
