RiskProfiler has announced the RiskProfiler MCP Connector, a new interface that allows authorised users to access intelligence and functions from the RiskProfiler platform through compatible AI assistants. The solution is designed for security analysts, risk teams and security leaders seeking a conversational approach to external threat and exposure intelligence.
The connector enables users to submit natural-language queries covering areas such as external attack surface changes, third-party risk, credential exposure, digital threats and ongoing security operations. By providing an additional conversational interface, the solution is intended to reduce the need for users to navigate multiple dashboards, filters and reports while investigating potential risks.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) provides a standardised way for compatible AI applications to interact with connected systems. RiskProfiler’s implementation applies this approach to its own platform, allowing an authorised user’s natural-language request to be translated into permitted queries or functions within their RiskProfiler environment. The resulting intelligence is then presented through the connected AI assistant for further analysis.
RiskProfiler continues to serve as the underlying intelligence platform and system of record, with access controls and customer-specific investigation context remaining within the platform. This approach allows organisations to use a conversational interface without replacing the existing source of intelligence or established security workflows.
The MCP Connector also complements KnyX AI, RiskProfiler’s agentic investigation capability. KnyX AI is designed to collect and correlate evidence, investigate threat signals, generate confidence-scored findings and support remediation based on customer-defined policies. Through the MCP Connector, users can conversationally request and explore intelligence generated across these investigation capabilities.
The solution is designed to connect information across multiple external risk domains rather than treating individual signals as separate records. Analysts can use entity-centric investigations to examine a specific domain, for example, and request related exposure, digital threat, vulnerability, credential and third-party information. Follow-up natural-language queries can then be used to narrow the investigation based on the findings.
RiskProfiler also plans to support daily security briefings through the connector. Depending on an organisation’s configuration and authorised data, these briefings can surface changes to the attack surface, new findings, developments in vendor risk, brand and identity threats, and pending assessment activities. This is intended to give security teams a consolidated view of significant changes requiring further investigation.
“Security teams need to move quickly from identifying a potential issue to understanding its relevance to the business. A conversational way to explore external risk intelligence can reduce time spent navigating disparate data and help analysts focus on investigation, prioritisation, and informed action,” said Setu Parimi, co-founder and CTO of RiskProfiler.
The RiskProfiler MCP Connector is expected to initially support Claude, with integrations for OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google Gemini planned subsequently. RiskProfiler said the product scope and integration timelines remain subject to final confirmation.
