Orient Technologies Limited has expanded its cybersecurity business following the signing of a USD 3.15 million, three-year contract with Securonix, with planned investments expected to bring its total investment in the expansion to approximately USD 5 million.
Under the expanded relationship, Orient Technologies will take on a broader mandate as Securonix’s exclusive Value-Added Distributor (VAD) and joint go-to-market partner in India. The company will also strengthen capabilities across implementation, professional services, technical support, managed security and Security Operations Centre (SOC) enablement.
The partnership builds on Orient Technologies’ existing role as a Securonix Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP). Under the expanded mandate, Orient will lead distribution and joint go-to-market initiatives in India, enable regional partners and support enterprise deployments and integrations.
As part of the expansion, Orient Technologies plans to invest in talent and partner enablement, including the hiring of around 100 cybersecurity professionals. The company is also targeting a 12 per cent expansion in its cybersecurity customer base. Together, these initiatives are aimed at creating an end-to-end cybersecurity model covering technology adoption, implementation and ongoing security operations.

He added that the opportunity extends beyond taking cybersecurity technology to market, with the company aiming to help enterprises translate security investments into sustained resilience by combining Securonix’s AI-powered platform with Orient’s implementation and managed security capabilities.
As organisations manage increasingly complex digital environments and evolving cyber threats, Orient Technologies said enterprises require security models that connect technology investments with the expertise needed to deploy, operate, optimise and sustain them. The company aims to address this requirement by building an integrated security ecosystem around the Securonix platform.

He added that the expanded partnership will provide customers in India with Securonix technology alongside local expertise for deployment, integration and evolving security operations.
The expanded relationship further positions cybersecurity as a key component of Orient Technologies’ enterprise technology portfolio. Orient Technologies is also certified and authorised to sell Securonix solutions in India and the United States, extending the scope of the collaboration.
