Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited has secured a Statement of Work worth US$15.5 million, approximately Rs 147 crore, from IBM Cloud Inc for AI infrastructure design, deployment and support services in the United States.
The order has been awarded to Blue Cloud’s wholly owned US subsidiary, Global Impx Inc. (GIX), and work commenced on 24 September 2026. The engagement is governed by a Master Services Agreement signed between the two companies on 21 August 2026, with payments linked to five milestones spanning project initiation through production go-live.
Under the mandate, GIX will design, build and support a scalable and secure infrastructure environment for enterprise artificial intelligence and machine-learning workloads. The platform will support activities including model development, training, fine-tuning and inference.
The project will be delivered across four broad stages. The design phase will involve evaluating AI workloads and existing infrastructure before developing the high-level architecture and detailed technical design. This will be followed by the deployment of GPU compute clusters, high-performance storage and networking, AI/ML platforms and Kubernetes-based orchestration, along with dedicated environments for model training and inference.
The engagement will also cover security and operational capabilities, including identity and access management, network segmentation, encryption, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery. The final phase will include performance validation, documentation, knowledge transfer, production handover and a subsequent stabilisation and support period.
The project includes defined service-level commitments, with infrastructure and GPU availability targeted at a minimum of 99.5 per cent. Critical alerts are required to be raised within 15 minutes, while response to critical incidents is set at 30 minutes.
The order comes as enterprises increasingly move artificial intelligence applications from experimentation and pilot programmes into production environments, creating demand for high-performance GPU infrastructure that can support demanding workloads while meeting security, availability and operational requirements.
For Blue Cloud, the engagement strengthens its presence in the US AI infrastructure market, which the company identifies as its largest market, while adding a major enterprise technology client to its growing infrastructure services portfolio.
Tejesh Kumar Kodali, Group Chairman, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited, said the mandate reflected the company’s strategy of building a scalable AI infrastructure business in the US. He said AI is moving from laboratory environments into production and that infrastructure is central to that transition.
Vinod Babu Bollikonda, Managing Director and Group CEO, said the company’s teams had already been mobilised to execute the project against the agreed milestones and service levels. He added that Blue Cloud intends to build a longer-term relationship with the client beyond the current engagement.
