NxtGen unveils Diamond-Cooled NVIDIA H200 AI servers

NxtGen has announced the deployment of NVIDIA H200 GPU servers integrated with Akash Systems’ patented Diamond Cooling® technology, marking a major advancement in sovereign AI infrastructure.

The deployment of NVIDIA H200 servers with Diamond Cooling® positions NxtGen at the forefront of next-generation AI data center innovation. The additive cooling solution enhances traditional air and liquid cooling architectures by eliminating thermal throttling and enabling GPUs to sustain peak performance even in high ambient temperature environments.

Diamond is the most thermally conductive material known, capable of removing heat up to five times faster than copper. Originally proven in space-grade satellite systems, the technology now enables AI servers to operate efficiently at ambient temperatures up to 50°C (122°F), significantly above conventional data center norms.

According to NxtGen, the integration delivers approximately 15% improvement in FLOPs per watt and a similar increase in usable compute output. By lowering GPU hotspot temperatures by around 5°C, the solution ensures sustained peak silicon performance during heavy AI training and inference workloads.

For data centers operating in warmer regions such as India, this translates into higher compute density per rack, improved Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), and greater capital efficiency. The reduction in thermal throttling allows enterprises to extract more performance from existing infrastructure, lowering long-term total cost of ownership (TCO).

A.S. Rajgopal, MD & CEO, NxtGen, stated that the deployment strengthens the company’s AI backbone by increasing usable compute per watt and per rack, enabling higher customer performance with improved structural efficiency.

Dr. Felix Ejeckam, Co-Founder & CEO, Akash Systems, added that Diamond Cooling® addresses critical constraints in AI infrastructure, particularly energy and capital efficiency.

As AI adoption accelerates across sectors including government, BFSI, healthcare, and manufacturing, NxtGen’s platform unifies GPU architectures across NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel, offering optimized model hosting with sovereign data residency and compliance.

This world-first deployment reinforces NxtGen’s ambition to build India’s most scalable, energy-efficient, and high-performance AI infrastructure.
