Ctruh has raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures, as the company looks to build the infrastructure layer for the spatial internet and scale its global presence. The round also saw participation from Avinya Ventures, India Accelerator, Founder’s Avenue, Anthill Ventures and LVX, along with angel investors including Vivek Sinha and Shivakumar Ganesan.
The Bengaluru-based startup is focused on simplifying 3D content creation through its proprietary browser-native 3D engine and its in-house generative AI platform, VersaAI. The fresh capital will be deployed towards advancing research and development, enhancing product capabilities and accelerating go-to-market expansion across the United States and the UAE in 2026.
Ctruh has gained visibility through its appearance on Shark Tank India (Season 5), where it received investment offers from Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh. The company has also been recognised as an ELEVATE 2025 winner by the Government of Karnataka and received the Aegis Graham Bell Award 2025 for innovation in immersive experiences, alongside other industry accolades.
Commenting on the investment, Vinay Bansal, CEO & Co-Founder, IPV, said, “While the AI space continues to get increasingly crowded, Ctruh is cutting through the noise with strong technical differentiation. Its patented 3D engine enables high-fidelity 4K, 8K, and even 16K experiences to run smoothly on the web with fast load times. What stands out is how they are combining AI with 3D and XR to scale immersive content creation, making these experiences usable and scalable for everyday business applications.”
Vinay Agastya, Founder & CEO, Ctruh, added, “At Ctruh, our focus has always been to simplify technology for businesses by making advanced solutions more accessible. We are building infrastructure for the next generation of digital experiences, where our goal is to create spatial experiences for every business, regardless of size and scale. This funding will accelerate our ability to do exactly that.”
He further noted, “We are already seeing strong demand signals, with AR-enabled products driving significantly higher conversions and increasing adoption across industries. This reflects a structural shift towards open, AI-powered, browser-native platforms.”
Ctruh’s platform is designed to eliminate traditional barriers in 3D and XR development, which have historically required specialised talent, high-performance hardware and complex software integrations. Its no-code and low-code engine enables businesses to deploy immersive experiences instantly across devices without downloads or additional infrastructure.
The company has also launched Commverse Studio, positioned as an AI-powered unified XR commerce platform that allows brands to create immersive 3D experiences in under 30 minutes. Powered by VersaAI, the platform converts images, text and video into production-ready 3D assets, significantly reducing time and cost for businesses across sectors such as retail, automotive, real estate, education and healthcare.
With a team of 36 and headquarters in Bengaluru, Ctruh is preparing to expand internationally, targeting the United States and UAE markets. The company operates at the intersection of AI, XR and 3D technologies, a rapidly growing segment globally. The XR market is projected to reach $346 billion in 2026 and scale significantly over the next decade, driven by increasing adoption of immersive technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
