CSM Technologies Limited has entered into an engagement to adopt the Modular Open Source Identity Platform framework, strengthening its capabilities in building foundational digital identity solutions for governments and public institutions.
The move expands the company’s Digital Public Infrastructure capabilities and adds foundational digital identity to its broader GovTech portfolio. It also positions CSM Technologies to pursue opportunities in international markets where governments are developing secure, scalable and interoperable digital systems for public service delivery.
MOSIP is an open-source and modular technology framework that enables countries to design and manage customised foundational digital identity systems. Its vendor-neutral architecture allows governments to build identity ecosystems based on their policy, governance, technology and service delivery requirements.
As part of the initiative, CSM Technologies has trained its technical teams on the platform, building specialised expertise to design, integrate, customise and implement MOSIP-based digital identity solutions.

He added that the engagement strengthens the company’s ability to support governments in developing secure, scalable and interoperable identity systems aligned with institutional and citizen requirements.
The adoption of MOSIP complements CSM Technologies’ existing expertise across e-Governance, citizen services, social protection, agriculture, healthcare, public finance, GIS, analytics and enterprise digital transformation.
The company plans to leverage these capabilities to support the integration of digital identity with government registries, beneficiary ecosystems and service delivery platforms, based on the requirements of individual countries and projects.
The engagement also strengthens CSM Technologies’ GovTech proposition in emerging markets, particularly across Africa and Latin America, where governments are investing in digital infrastructure to improve inclusion, public service delivery and administrative efficiency.
By adding foundational digital identity to its DPI capabilities, CSM Technologies continues to expand its position as a broader GovTech and Digital Public Infrastructure solutions partner for governments and public institutions.
