Operant AI launches Endpoint Protector to secure enterprise AI usage

Operant AI has announced the launch of Operant Endpoint Protector, a new addition to its AI Defense Platform designed to help enterprises discover, detect and defend against threats across AI tools, coding agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP)-connected workflows at the endpoint.

The solution comes as AI becomes deeply embedded in everyday enterprise workflows across functions such as HR, finance, legal, customer service, engineering and operations, where employees increasingly interact with AI assistants and agents handling sensitive data and business processes.

Operant Endpoint Protector focuses on securing the endpoint, where most AI-driven activity occurs, addressing a growing gap in enterprise security as traditional tools remain limited in monitoring AI interactions within trusted and encrypted environments.

According to IBM insights cited in the announcement, 65 per cent of organisations have established upskilling plans to support AI strategies, 63 per cent have introduced structured change management programmes, and 60 per cent have delivered training on AI’s impact on work. However, security frameworks around these AI-enabled workflows have not evolved at the same pace.

Vrajesh Bhavsar, CEO and Co-Founder, Operant AI said, “Security leaders are waking up to the reality that their AI exposure doesn’t live in one place, it lives everywhere their employees and agents do. The endpoint is where AI actually meets the workforce. It’s been the largest blind spot in the enterprise security stack and it’s the gap we built the Operant Endpoint Protector to close.”

Operant Endpoint Protector is designed as a native workstation application compatible with macOS, Windows and Linux, enabling enterprise-wide deployment through standard MDM and JAMF workflows. It integrates with enterprise identity providers to enforce contextual identity and access management across AI interactions.

The solution also supports private-mode deployments and hybrid architectures, allowing sensitive data, prompts and agent activity to remain within customer environments, making it suitable for regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, government and critical infrastructure.

Powered by Operant’s 3D Protection framework, the platform provides real-time capabilities including AI tool discovery, agent loop monitoring, data exfiltration prevention, access governance and runtime protection against code injection attacks.

Operant AI positions Endpoint Protector as a purpose-built solution for the evolving AI and agentic ecosystem, aiming to provide enterprises with enhanced visibility, control and security as AI adoption accelerates across the workforce.
