As AI becomes both a tool for attackers and defenders, how is ePROTECT 360 helping clients build resilience against AI-enabled threats specifically, as opposed to traditional cyberattack vectors?

AI is fundamentally changing the speed, scale and sophistication of cyberattacks from automated reconnaissance and highly personalised social engineering to faster vulnerability exploitation. ePROTECT 360 is helping organisations move from reactive security to continuous cyber resilience by combining AI-driven SIEM/XDR, behavioural analytics, threat intelligence, automated response, vulnerability management and AI governance. The objective is not simply to defend against AI, but to become AI-ready and resilient by design.

ePROTECT 360 frequently highlights emerging threats like social engineering scams targeting everyday consumers. How does the company see the line between enterprise-grade cyber defense and public awareness campaigns as part of its mission?

We don’t see them as separate missions. The weakest link in cybersecurity is often a human being, whether inside or outside an organisation. Enterprise-grade security can protect systems, but awareness helps protect decisions. Our approach therefore combines technology and governance with practical cyber-awareness initiatives around phishing, fraud, social engineering, digital identity and responsible technology use. A cyber-resilient society strengthens the resilience of its organisations.

Having worked across India, Dubai, China and other global markets, how has ePROTECT 360 adapted its approach to cybersecurity governance for such culturally and regulatorily diverse environments?

Our approach is based on a simple principle: global security principles, locally relevant implementation. We leverage international frameworks such as ISO, NIST and other recognised standards, while mapping them to each country’s regulatory environment, business culture, risk landscape and digital maturity. Our experience across markets has taught us that cybersecurity governance cannot simply be copied and deployed; it must be contextualised.

As ePROTECT 360 continues to grow its global consulting footprint, what does the company consider the hardest part of scaling a trust-based service like cybersecurity governance across borders?

Trust is the hardest and most important part to scale. Cybersecurity governance involves access to an organisation’s most sensitive risks, processes and information. Technology can be standardised, but trust has to be earned market by market through transparency, local understanding, consistent delivery and measurable outcomes. Our focus at ePROTECT 360 is therefore to build long-term partnerships rather than transactional engagements.

You recently participated in the AI for Developing Countries Forum in Geneva, where discussions centred on making AI more accessible and inclusive for developing nations. How do you see these global conversations translating into practical cybersecurity and AI-readiness initiatives for countries such as Angola and other emerging economies?

The real opportunity is to make AI adoption secure from the beginning rather than trying to secure it after deployment. For countries such as Angola, this can translate into practical initiatives around national cyber-readiness, AI governance, digital identity protection, critical infrastructure security, cyber-skills development, incident response and security operations. We believe emerging economies should not have to replicate the entire journey of mature markets, they can leapfrog by adopting secure, AI-enabled and resilient digital architectures from day one.

Following your recent meeting with the Ambassador of Angola, where discussions focused on strengthening the country’s cybersecurity resilience, what are the key cybersecurity challenges you see emerging for developing economies, and how can Indian cybersecurity companies contribute to building more secure digital infrastructure in these markets?

Developing economies face a unique combination of rapid digitalisation, growing cybercrime, limited specialist talent, legacy infrastructure and evolving regulatory frameworks. The answer is not simply importing technology; it is building sustainable local capability. Indian cybersecurity companies can contribute through affordable technology, managed SOC services, governance frameworks, training and knowledge transfer, while developing local talent and ecosystems. At ePROTECT 360, we see this as an opportunity to build ‘security by design’ digital infrastructure and cyber-resilient nations, not merely sell cybersecurity solutions.
