A visionary technologist and seasoned academic, Sachin brings over two decades of expertise in wireless networks, AI, and edge computing to his new leadership role at Intel. As CTO and Head of AI, he will steer the company’s innovation roadmap and accelerate the integration of cutting-edge AI capabilities across Intel’s technology ecosystem.
Sachin has been a part of Intel since 2021, previously serving as SVP & GM of the Network and Edge Group and CTO of the same division. He has played a pivotal role in advancing Intel’s 5G and edge AI strategies. In addition, he co-chairs the Technical Steering Board at the O-RAN Alliance, driving open, intelligent RAN standards globally.
Outside of Intel, Sachin is a respected academic—currently an Associate Professor at Stanford University—and a serial entrepreneur, having founded Uhana and co-founded Kumu Networks and the xRAN Forum.
With his unique blend of industry insight, academic rigor, and entrepreneurial drive, Sachin is well-positioned to lead Intel into a new era of AI-driven transformation.
