Akash Shukla has started a new role as Chief Manager – Information System at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). With over 14 years of rich experience spanning IT operations, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, Akash will now spearhead BPCL’s information systems strategy from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
During his time at BPCL, Akash has played a pivotal role in driving several high-impact digital and cybersecurity initiatives. His achievements include the implementation of advanced Manufacturing Execution Systems (IP21, Oil Accounting & Planning), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and enterprise-grade cybersecurity frameworks involving IDS/IPS-enabled firewalls and SIEM platforms. He has also led transformative projects across smart device integration, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Internet of Things (IoT), and plant-wide wireless infrastructure, strengthening BPCL’s tech capabilities across operations.
