Dell Technologies has announced that NxtGen AI Pvt Ltd has selected Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA solutions to build India’s first and largest dedicated AI factory, marking a major step in expanding the country’s national artificial intelligence capabilities.
The deployment is designed to support large-scale generative AI, agentic AI, physical AI and high-performance computing, serving enterprises, start-ups and government programmes. By establishing this advanced AI factory, NxtGen aims to meet growing demand for AI as a Service and large-scale GPU capacity across India.
Dell will provide the core infrastructure for the new AI cluster, including Vertiv liquid-cooled Dell PowerEdge XE9685L servers delivered through Dell Integrated Rack Scalable Systems. The infrastructure will enable NxtGen to scale its AI platform and deliver high-performance AI services nationwide.
The initiative is expected to play a significant role in advancing India’s AI mission by expanding access to accelerated computing infrastructure for a wide range of users, including start-ups, academia and government bodies. The enhanced platform strengthens NxtGen’s ability to offer sovereign, cost-effective and high-performance AI services across sectors.
Built on the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, the deployment combines AI infrastructure, software and services into a full-stack platform designed for demanding AI workloads. NxtGen will deploy liquid-cooled Dell IR5000 racks featuring Dell PowerEdge XE9685L servers powered by NVIDIA accelerated computing to create a cluster comprising more than 4,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs and NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking. The setup will be supported by Dell PowerEdge R670 servers and Dell PowerScale F710 storage.
