L&T Technology Services has announced the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Global Development Center (GDC) – APAC, as part of a multi-year engagement with PALFINGER, an Austria-headquartered pioneer in innovative crane and lifting solutions.
Anchored within LTTS’ Mobility segment, the GDC is designed to accelerate PALFINGER’s global and India-focused product development by leveraging LTTS’ expertise and AI-driven engineering processes. The initiative aims to drive innovation, improve speed-to-market, and strengthen both companies’ commitment to technological leadership, supporting PALFINGER’s broader growth strategy across India and the Asia-Pacific region.
The centre will deliver an integrated suite of engineering and digital capabilities, including embedded software development, PLM migration, advanced CAE simulations and Digital Mock-up. These capabilities are expected to enhance PALFINGER’s product portfolio and strengthen its sourcing and localisation programmes.
With AI embedded across engineering workflows – from design automation and simulation to predictive intelligence – the partnership aims to accelerate product development cycles, improve operational efficiencies and enhance responsiveness to PALFINGER’s global clientele.
