GoTrust has introduced Version 2.1 with updates aimed at helping businesses set up and manage privacy compliance programmes more efficiently. The latest version focuses on faster deployment, streamlined workflows and improved stability as organisations navigate requirements under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other privacy regulations.
According to company-reported figures, Version 2.1 enables organisations to go live up to 30 per cent faster than the earlier version. It also reduces the steps involved in common compliance tasks, including consent setup and handling data subject requests, by around 25 per cent. The company has reported 40 per cent fewer bugs compared with Version 1.1, along with a 20 per cent reduction in setup-related support queries.
The update addresses challenges faced by privacy and compliance teams, including lengthy implementation timelines, complex workflows and technical issues that can disrupt routine tasks. GoTrust said the improvements are intended to make the platform easier to navigate while resolving issues identified in the earlier version, allowing teams to spend less time on setup and troubleshooting and more time managing compliance requirements.
Version 2.1 builds on GoTrust’s existing platform, which combines consent management, privacy automation, data governance, Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and AI governance. The platform offers both on-premise and software-as-a-service (SaaS) deployment options, along with more than 300 pre-built integrations across systems, applications and AI models.
Commenting on the update, Himanshu Gautam, Founder and CEO, GoTrust, said, “Privacy compliance is becoming an ongoing responsibility for businesses, with teams required to manage multiple regulations and processes simultaneously. However, the tools they use should not add to that complexity. With Version 2.1, we have focused on making GoTrust easier to set up, simpler to use and more reliable in everyday operations. These improvements are aimed at helping organisations manage compliance work more efficiently as their requirements evolve.”
The improved workflows are intended to support privacy, security, compliance and data teams across their daily responsibilities, including managing consent and data subject requests, conducting assessments and maintaining governance processes. The company said faster deployment can also help organisations bring their compliance programmes into operation sooner.
With Version 2.1, GoTrust continues to build on its integrated approach to privacy and data governance, focusing on improvements intended to help enterprises manage compliance with greater ease and efficiency.
