BizMobia Software Pvt Ltd. has signed a definitive Techno-Commercial agreement with Afro Mobile SARLU (Afro Mobile) to provide the technology infrastructure powering the digital financial services ecosystem of BE FREE, Afro Mobile’s mobile operator brand, across designated African markets.
Under the multi-year agreement, BizMobia will provide the core technology infrastructure and digital financial services platform supporting BE FREE’s consumer and business financial ecosystem. BizMobia will design, deploy, host, integrate, operate and maintain a scalable suite of digital financial services, including Purpose-Based Digital Vouchers, Mobile Wallets, Cross-Border Remittances, Payment Gateways, Payment Collection and POS Solutions, delivered through a unified digital platform.
The platform is designed to enable BE FREE to rapidly introduce and scale digital financial services while leveraging BizMobia’s enterprise-grade technology infrastructure, integrations and operational capabilities. Services will be deployed within the applicable regulatory, licensing and commercial frameworks of each target market.
The collaboration brings together Afro Mobile’s expanding BE FREE telecommunications footprint and strategic connectivity relationships with BizMobia’s scalable fintech infrastructure, creating a technology foundation for delivering digital payments and financial services to consumers, merchants and businesses across multiple African markets.
The partnership also reflects the growing convergence of telecommunications and financial services in Africa, where mobile operators are increasingly becoming important distribution channels for digital payments, wallets, remittances and other financial services.
“This agreement represents an important step in BizMobia’s strategy to become a trusted technology infrastructure partner for telecom operators, banks and financial-service providers across emerging markets,” said Mohammad Kalam, CEO of BizMobia Software.
He added, “Our role goes beyond delivering individual fintech applications. We provide the underlying technology infrastructure, integrations and operational capabilities that enable partners to launch, manage and scale digital financial services under their own brands. Through our partnership with Afro Mobile and BE FREE, we are helping create a scalable foundation for digital financial services across multiple African markets.”
Bony Sylvestre Ramdé, CEO, Afro Mobile (BE FREE), said, “Our partnership with BizMobia gives BE FREE access to a scalable technology foundation for expanding digital financial services alongside our telecommunications offering. By combining our connectivity and market strategy with BizMobia’s fintech infrastructure, we can accelerate the deployment of mobile wallets, payments, collections and other digital financial services as part of our broader multi-country rollout.”
BizMobia’s technology platform is designed to support telecom operators, banks, mobile money providers, fintech companies and other regulated businesses seeking to launch and scale digital financial services without having to build the underlying technology infrastructure from the ground up.
Through a modular and white-label approach, partners can select and deploy individual financial services or combine multiple capabilities into an integrated digital financial ecosystem. This enables organizations to accelerate time-to-market while maintaining control over their customer experience, branding and commercial strategy.
The partnership with Afro Mobile further expands BizMobia’s strategic role in Africa’s rapidly evolving digital economy and demonstrates the company’s ability to support multi-market, telecom-led financial services deployments.
