LTTS launches engineering intelligence centre of excellence in Munich

L&T Technology Services has inaugurated its first Engineering Intelligence (EI) Centre of Excellence at its Munich design centre in Germany, marking a significant step in expanding its AI-led engineering and research capabilities in Europe.

The company stated that the new centre is aimed at accelerating outcome-driven innovation for clients while strengthening collaboration with partners, academia, and the broader innovation ecosystem across the region.

LTTS currently serves more than 60 clients across Europe and has a workforce of over 4,500 engineers supporting operations in the region. The company said the new Engineering Intelligence Centre of Excellence will help clients accelerate innovation, research and development, and product engineering through AI-enabled solutions.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by industry leaders, clients, partners, and members of the Indo-German business community, along with dignitaries from government, academia, and industry.

Amit Chadha, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, L&T Technology Services, said, “LTTS’ first EI Center of Excellence in our Munich design center is a milestone as it brings our deep-tech and EI-based solutions closer to the clients’ R&D hubs across the region.
