Pelorus Technologies joins hands with Varonis to strengthen AI and data security in India

Pelorus Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with Varonis Systems to strengthen proactive data security, AI protection, and compliance capabilities for government agencies and enterprises across India.

According to the companies, the collaboration combines Varonis’ end-to-end data and AI security platform with Pelorus Technologies’ local integration expertise and established presence within India’s government sector.

The partnership aims to bridge the gap between proactive enterprise data protection and advanced digital forensics by integrating the Varonis platform into Pelorus Technologies’ cybersecurity portfolio. The companies stated that customers will gain enhanced capabilities to secure sensitive data, maintain compliance with evolving data protection regulations, and defend against threats across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Under the collaboration, Pelorus Technologies will provide access to the complete Varonis platform, including Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Data Access Governance, proactive threat detection through User and Entity Behaviour Analytics (UEBA), AI security through Varonis Atlas, next-generation Database Activity Monitoring, phishing and social engineering protection through Varonis Interceptor, and Managed Data Detection and Response services.

Rahul Dwivedi, Founder and CEO, Pelorus Technologies, said, “As India’s digital landscape rapidly evolves, transitioning from reactive investigation to proactive, AI-driven data security is a necessity. Our partnership with Varonis helps equip our government and enterprise clients with the automated tools required to neutralise threats before data exfiltration occurs, while seamlessly navigating the complexities of national data regulations.”

Santosh Shriyan, Channel Manager for India, Varonis, said, “Compliance and data security are deeply interconnected, especially as organisations expand their use of cloud and AI technologies. Through our partnership with Pelorus, we’re giving Indian organisations the visibility, control, and, importantly, automated outcomes that compliance depends on, helping reduce risk and protect sensitive information across complex environments.”

The companies stated that the partnership will focus on highly regulated and data-intensive sectors across India, including government security agencies and enterprise organisations. The alliance will also leverage Varonis’ local data centres in Mumbai and Pune to help organisations address data localisation and sovereignty requirements.
