Meta has announced the appointment of Arun Srinivas as its new Managing Director and Head for India

This strategic leadership transition aligns with Meta’s vision for deepening its commitment to India—one of its fastest-growing and most dynamic markets. The announcement follows Sandhya Devanathan’s elevation to a broader role as Vice President for India and Southeast Asia.

In his new role, Srinivas will be responsible for unifying Meta’s business growth, innovation, and revenue strategies across its family of apps and services. His mandate includes strengthening relationships with India’s top advertisers, developers, and ecosystem partners.

Currently serving as Director and Head of Ads Business, Srinivas has been a key architect of Meta’s advertising growth in India since 2020. He played a central role in scaling AI-powered ad experiences, Reels, and WhatsApp messaging solutions, accelerating adoption across brands and creators alike.

With a career spanning nearly three decades, Srinivas brings rich leadership experience from organizations such as Hindustan Unilever, Reebok, Ola, and WestBridge Capital. Meta highlighted his track record in building high-performance teams, product innovation, and strategic execution as critical assets for the company’s India roadmap.
