Balakrishnan brings with him a distinguished career spanning nearly three decades. Prior to joining ALTEN India, he served as Group Chief Information Officer at VA TECH WABAG, where he led enterprise-wide IT transformation efforts.
Before that, he held multiple senior leadership positions over an 18-year tenure at Expleo Group, including Director – Cybersecurity & Technology and Group Head – IT Infrastructure & Security, where he built and scaled global teams, led large-scale digital initiatives, and oversaw complex security operations.
His earlier roles include leading IT operations at Dinamalar, where he managed end-to-end network and infrastructure for the media house, and beginning his career in tech support at LS Mills Limited.
With deep expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, cloud platforms, network architecture, and global IT governance, Balakrishnan is poised to make a significant impact in his new role.
