She brings with her over two decades of experience in IT, cybersecurity, and banking technology. Prior to this, Babitha served as Vice President – System Audit at ReBIT, where she contributed to strengthening security frameworks across the financial sector.
Before that, she held the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at CSB Bank, following a long and impactful tenure in various IT leadership roles within the bank.
Her early career saw her working as a software developer at SunTec Business Solutions and Tandelsys, where she gained foundational experience in telecom and banking software systems.
In her new role at SBI, Babitha will lead critical initiatives to enhance infrastructure security and drive strategic technology projects at scale.
