Cashfree Payments Becomes One Of The First Fintechs In India To Unveil Agentic Payments, Bringing End-to-End AI Commerce Inside Chat

Cashfree Payments announced the launch of Agentic Payments at the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2025, a groundbreaking solution that embeds the entire online shopping experience inside a chat without redirects or pop-ups. With this launch, Cashfree becomes one of the first Indian fintechs to deliver AI-native payment capabilities for merchant agents, enabling businesses to offer seamless, human-like conversational commerce experiences.

Cashfree’s Agentic Payments MCP seamlessly integrates with the merchant’s MCP and takes over the conversation when the customer is ready to make the payment. The Payments MCP is powered by the latest innovations in payments: UPI Reserve Pay,  card device token & biometric authentication, that enable payments to happen without the need for the consumer to even redirect to a checkout flow, thus unifying discovery, decision making and payments into a natural conversation flow.
